About Me
I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Economics department at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. My main areas of interest are entrepreneurship, monetary theory and history, and the Austrian school of economics.
My wife, Jeanna, and I met at Hillsdale College, where we both played trombone in the college orchestra. We've been married for 6 years, and we have two children, Emma and Jack. Family activities include church, movies, bowling, trips to the lake, and igloo building. My hobbies include coin collecting, working on old cars, sport shooting, and hunting.
I have previously worked as a handyman, concrete mason, remodeling contractor, home builder, ranch hand, and life insurance and mutual fund salesman. In the summers, my family enjoys traveling to the arid plains of Eastern Colorado, my homeland, to help out on the family cattle ranch.
